The heart of LETC is our Riding School.

Our goal is to educate people to understand and experience the joys and thrills of horses and riding in a safe and friendly atmosphere, following the Classical teachings of Podhajsky, Lorke, Klimke and Zettl, to name a few. We believe that the bond that is established between horse and rider can be developed only with an understanding of and sensitivity to the horse. And with patience.

Our students learn all about horsemanship, from grooming and care of tack to lunging, groundwork and competition.

We offer Private, Semi-Private, and Group lessons in the Dressage, Cross-Country and Stadium disciplines, at all skill levels from Beginner to Advanced.

We have four Coaches on staff at LETC, and bring in outside teachers from time to time for lessons, camps and/or clinics. We want to offer our students the broadest possible range of instruction, without the hassle of having to go to other facilities.

We currently have ten School Horses & Ponies at LETC ranging in age, size, and ability. This allows our students to progress to more advanced mounts as their riding abilities improve, or to larger horses as they grow.

We are proud of our Riding School, our School Horses & Ponies, and our Students and we welcome additions to our family –human and otherwise.

RIDING FACILITIES:

· Indoor arena

· Outdoor sand ring

· Grass stadium ring

· Grass dressage ring

· 4 levels of cross-country courses (Pre-Entry to Training)

· Hacking trails

· Large heated tack/change rooms

PRICES: (All prices include GST, and refer to instruction time only. You should arrive at least 30mins before your lesson to groom and prepare your horse, and allow another 30mins afterward to groom, clean your tack and tidy your area.)

Assessment: $43.00/30mins

Beginner Longe: $43.00/30mins

Group: $43.00/1hr (max 4 students)

Private (requested): $48.50/30mins

All students must sign a Riding Agreement & Liability release and First Aid form prior to mounting for the first time.
